Usain has been coached by Glen Mills since 2004 and he has been a major factor in turning the talented junior into the World’s Fastest Man. Usain describes Coach Mills as a father figure and someone who guides him both on and off the track, "He has always made the right decisions for me. He is a guiding light in my career and he has shown me the way to improve myself both as a person and as an athlete," said Bolt after his 2008 Olympic success. Coach Mills has worked with some of the Caribbean's top sprinters since the 1970's with athletes such as two time Olympic finalist Raymond Stewart, 2003 100m World Champion Kim Collins and 2004 Olympic relay gold medallist Aileen Bailey. He is the head of Racers Track Club which currently produces many of Jamaica’s top athletes including 2011 World 100m Champion Yohan Blake and 400m stars Rosemarie Whyte and Jermaine Gonzales. Coach Mills has been the head coach on many Jamaican teams at Olympic Games and World Championships. He first started coaching at his alma mater, Camperdown High in East Kingston, and developed it into a sprinting powerhouse nick-named ‘Sprint Factory’. He has earned diplomas from the International Olympic Committee training centre in Mexico and High-Level Sprint Tech training at the IAAF Training Centre in Puerto Rico Mills and was honoured in 2008 by receiving the IAAF Coach of the Year award as well as been named NACAC Coach of the Year during the 18th Congress of the NACAC Track and Field Coaches Association.
PACE Sports Management is one of the world’s top athlete management and sports marketing companies. Headed by Ricky Simms and Marion Steininger with its headquarters in London, Usain has been with PACE since 2003 when he joined as a 16 year old. PACE clients won a total of thirteen medals in the 2012 Olympic Games and the company was the most successful management group at the last two World T&F Championships in Daegu and Berlin. Current PACE clients include many of the stars of T&F, cross country and road running including Olympic & World Champions Mo Farah, Vivian Cheruiyot, Christine Ohuruogu and Phillips Idowu. PACE arranges competitions, endorsements and PR appearances and has been instrumental in developing Usain into a global superstar both on and off the track. Ricky has been listed in Sports Business International’s Top 20 most influential sports agents in the world; listed three times in the top 20 most influential people in athletics in the UK; awarded a European Athletics Association Coaching honour for Services to Athletics; awarded Athletics Kenya Agent of the Year. He is a Board member of the Association of Athletics Managers (AAM) and an IAAF authorized and licensed Athlete Representative.
Gina Ford is a woman with many talents and a wide array of resources to help put her talents to good use. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica and came to live in Miami in 1981. For the last fifteen years she has done marketing for several athletes, entertainers and CEOs. Her experience as well as her outstanding alliances with corporations and her celebrity clients has given her great success in the marketing world. Currently she works as a commercial agent in Team Bolt marketing Usain’s brand and developing sponsor relationships throughout the US and the world.
Nugent ‘NJ’ Walker is Usain’s executive manager and has been by his side since they first met at school when they were six years old. They became close friends while studying at William Knibb High School and throughout his career NJ is the person Usain relies on to help him make the right decisions. In 2010 Usain appointed NJ as his executive manager to manage his business and personal affairs, working closely with the coach, agents and staff to ensure everyone in Team Bolt is pulling in the same direction.

Norman Peart has been Usain's manager since the sprinter was in high school and started showing glimpses of his prodigious talent. As a tax auditor by profession, and as a former high-school athlete and graduate of William Knibb High School and Jamaica College, Norman initially looked after the financial, lifestyle and educational side of Usain's progression from a lank, shy 15 year old into a global star. But it was after seeing his young protégé at age 16 run 20.25 seconds in the 200 meters finals of the Jamaican High School Championships in 2003, he came up with a 4-5 year plan with Beijing being the main objective. With the consent of his parents, Peart organized for Bolt to turn professional in 2003 by signing with Puma, relocating himself and Bolt to Kingston and the story began to unfold. He brought in PACE Sports Management in 2003 and facilitated the move to coach Coach Glen Mills in 2004.
Everald ‘Eddie’ Edwards is Usain’s masseur and has the task of keeping his body healthy and injury free. He started working with Usain in 2010 and prepares him for every training session or race in Jamaica and abroad. When not working on Usain Everald is a Physical Education teacher.
